What is a Tablet PC?

A computer which has slate shape or is in shape of notebook is a tablet PC. They were launched in market for first time by Pen Computing in ‘90s. the first computer was known PenGo Tablet Computer. This sort of computer was later popularized by Microsoft. Tablet computer have technology which gives hybrid touch screen. A user is able to input through a digital pen or a stylus.

Tablet PC is modification of Laptop PC

A laptop PC is modified in to Tablet PC. One can use a digital pen directly on the screen to input instead of using mouse or keyboard. These pens and stylus are capable of doing each function as are performed by other methods of inputting. Some other tablets don’t have touch screen feature. So they only work with digital pen not with stylus or fingertip.

Tablet PCs are far more comfortable and easy to use as compared to desktop or laptop. This sort of portable computer does not require flat surface for it to be used. You can have them used while you are on move.

3. Tablet PC in sturdy style: this is a sort of rugged tablet. This tablet can be used in rough conditions.
